A New Wave

It's been a while since my incident at the airport and now I've been at home in Salalah passing out my vacation. It's not that bad though. I've had alot of walking and spending quality time with the family.  Spending time with Achilles and Chaya has been very rewarding and they are teaching me alot.

Recently my husband has been in contact with an old friend. She seems like she is rather sent from heaven. She is exactly what I've been wanting for a long time and I will get to meet her in a week.  I can't wait. I am sure she will have lots to teach me about myself and the chidlren since we share a common interest when it comes to Achilles. I hope it will be the beginning of a life long friendship.  We have only spoken through email and chat and already I feel like we have known each other for a lifetime.

So here I come life! I come with arms wide open, ready to take a leap of faith!  Who knows what life will bring but I'm open to it all!

Until next time, I hope will be soon until I give you all an update. Come along on the ride with me!

  1. I would reserve judgement until you meet the person in real life. Internet friendships can be misleading. That's just my opinion - I'm not trying to put anything negative into your brain, but you are on here and posting your blog on Facebook so I guess you don't mind some comment even if you may not agree fully with it. Good luck with the new friendship. And how does she have a common interest in your son if you have never met her?

  2. may i advice you to not put too much confidence in a person you have not met and expect anything from her. so if she dont meet your expectation then you wont fall falt down. and what is that common interest in your son about?

  3. To Avril and Adam, I am not putting my entire trust in her. I'm just hoping for the best. Achilles is autistic and she has a daughter who is as autistic as well but is much better now. So there is alot I can learn from her when it comes to dealing with Achilles moving forward. Thanks for the concern though.

  4. aha - that says alot ... didn't know A had autism, he's still young, hard to tell scope. Anyways, hope you find someone to talk to & share things with. All the best

  5. I love your positive attitude and outlook!
